KESC spokesman told that, Sui Southern is providing less gas than usual with low pressure that causes immense damage to the powerhouses. Owing to the same reason, several power plants have tripped in the past two weeks.
The spokesman told that Sui Southern is openly violating the federation’s policy of distributing gas and that the powerhouses are not given priority as far as gas supply is concerned.
The blasts was occurred in the hyderi market Karachi due to blast till yet 8 killed and several injured reported. Death toll will be raised as the conditions told.
After the blast market closed and police took the area into the custody for the investigations. Rescue also reached and shifted the affected bodies to the hospitals for the medical treatments.
The blasts took place on a service road near the market, damaging several vehicles and push carts.
According to the police, the bomb was apparently fixed on a motorbike, which was completely destroyed in the blasts.
Heavy contingent of police and rangers were deployed at the blast site.
President Electronics Market has announced that market will not open tomorrow after the blast.
In a statement, PML-N President Mian Nawaz Sharif condemned the blasts and expressed his grief over loss of precious lives.
SSP  West Amir Farooqi told that, cases of riots and rampage have been lodged at police stations including Jackson, Manghopir, Boat Basin, Preedy, Kharadar, Civil Lines, Defence, Gizri, Baloch Colony and Eid gah.
According to Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) South Asif Ejaz Sheikh, 87 people in all have been arrested from south zone, making up a total of 112 arrested in south and west zones during the rioting yesterday while protesting against the anti-Islam movie.
The cases of murder, murder attempt, riots and ransacking public and private properties, have been registered against the arrested people, according to police.
Police said that Muhammad Luqman, 38, had had a heated argument with one Abdul Qadir when the latter parked the car outside his hardware shop near Gujjar Chowk close to Mahmoodabad furniture market.
“In the course of arguments, Qadir pulled out a pistol and fired at Luqman,” said the area’s sub-divisional police officer, DSP Altaf Hussain.
“He was hit in the chest and was rushed to the Jinnah hospital where he died.
The suspect has been detained by police,” said the official, adding that the victim was father of five. An FIR has not been registered yet.
Body found in gunny bag
Body of young man was found stuffed in a gunny bag near a Tonga stand in Lines Area.
“The young man was hit by three bullets. He was wearing shalwar kameez,” said an official at the Brigade police station.
Initial medico-legal examination at the Civil Hospital suggested that he had been dead at least 15 hours.
Body found
Body of an unidentified man was found shot area in a deserted place along the Siddiq Wahab Road near Sarya Gali in Haji Camp area, police said.
“The victim, who appeared to be in his mid 20s, was shot once in the head.
 Seven people including a lawyer and school principal were killed and four others injured in separate incidents of firing here on Saturday.
Two men, Mohammed Idrees, a lawyer, 35, son of Mohammed Ali, and his driver, Noman Shah, 28, residents of Orangi Town, were shot dead near Islam Chowk in Orangi Town No 11 . The bodies were shifted to Sindh Government Qatar Hospital for medico-legal formalities.
Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) coordination committee member Saifyar Khan said that deceased Noman Shah was a party worker and Hammad Idrees Advocate was its sympathizer.
Principal of Metroville Rabia Public School, Pervez, 60, was killed and his son, Abdul Rehman, 25, was injured when unidentified gunman opened fire on them near Metroville graveyard in SITE area. The assailant, aged 30, was severely injured when police encountered him as he was fleeing. Later on the assailant succumbed to his injuries. The bodies and injured were taken to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital (ASH).
Noushad was shot killed and another shot and injured by unidentified armed men near Ali Medico in Kati Pahri area. The body and the injured were brought to ASH for medico-legal formalities and treatment respectively. According to details the victim noushad was a political party worker.
A man, Rizwan, 35, son of Abdul Salam, was shot dead near Irfan Model School at Anda Morr roundabout in North Karachi. The body was shifted to ASH for an autopsy.
Separately, an unknown man, aged 40, was killed and another, Shakil, 45, son of Ismail, was injured in a firing incident near Metro Cinema in Orangi Town. The body and injured were shifted to ASH.
A man, Abdul Qayyum, 35, son of Jalal, resident of Bhense Colony, Landhi, received 2 bullets on his legs when unidentified gunmen opened fire on him. The injured was taken to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center for medical treatment.
